A closer look at your Clark County home.

Buying in Vancouver, Camas or Battle Ground? A showing gives you a feel for a home. An inspection helps you understand its accessible structure and systems, the findings that need attention, and the questions to ask before closing.

For homes exposed to Pacific Northwest rain, I pay particular attention to visible signs of moisture intrusion: roof and flashing conditions, siding, drainage, and the crawlspace. I explain what I observe and where a specialist’s evaluation may be needed.

Choose the inspections that fit the property.

Home inspection

A visual, non-invasive evaluation of accessible areas and systems following Washington’s home inspection standards of practice. The inspection covers the roof and attic, exterior, structure, crawlspace, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, and interior components, subject to access and conditions.

What a home inspection includes

Radon testing

Radon levels cannot be determined by looking at a house or by using a neighbor’s result. A continuous radon monitor collects measurements over a minimum of 48 hours, helping you understand conditions in the home being tested.

Sewer scope

A separate camera inspection examines accessible portions of the main sewer line for visible roots, cracks, offsets and other concerns. This adds information about a system that a standard home inspection cannot see from inside the house.
